The present research aimed at the improvement of the professional training process of the students at “Sport and Physical Education” Faculty, at “Basketball” basic course, directed towards the specific approach of the technical components, by using an analytical specialized video program. The theoretical and methodological - practical aspects approached in the research clarified some problems concerning the obvious necessity of a new analytical curriculum, in which the technical component of preparing the students may encourage forming the specific competences of the game, at a superior qualitative level.
The implementation of the curriculum watched the updating and the division of the subject matter “Basketball”. Appling the curriculum at the experimental group of students justified, conform to the obtained results, the development of their “demonstrative” profile and an optimal interaction of the theoretical knowledge and methods, according to the present demands, in comparison with the onlooker group, witch registered inferior values at every test. The new curriculum framed the component technical preparing of students in a modern methodological and conceptual support, which allows making an efficient methodical line in finding, eliminating or minimizing the technical mistakes in realizing the specific fundamental procedures in the basketball game in concordance with the future professional didactic demands of the graduate.
