Scientific novelty: is to develop the provisions of a systemic and activity-based approach within the elective course «Moldovan folk outdoor games», as the basis for creating conditions for the gradual formation of students of the «Primary education» profile of knowledge, skills / abilities and qualities / values that make up the triad of categorical pedagogical competencies – cognitive / gnostic, functional / practical and value / personal in the field of theory and methodology of organizing and conducting outdoor games with primary school students.

The main problem solved is the theoretical and practical justification of the program of step-bystep formation of professional and applied competences, as well as the methods of using Moldavian national mobile games in the process of non-professional physical education for students of the «Primary education» profile.

The theoretical significance of the research: (1) the conditions for the formation of professionally applied and associated pedagogical competencies are determined and theoretically substantiated, as an objective need to improve the content of the training program for future primary school teachers and are implemented on the basis of an activity-based and systematic approach within the framework of the elective course «Moldovan folk mobile games»; (2) obtained data on professionally important psychomotor qualities of primary school teachers; (3) revised and supplemented the taxonomic content, which constitutes the construction of the classification of outdoor games; (4) the understanding of the historical, cultural and pedagogical value of the Moldovan folk outdoor games has been expanded.

The applied significance of the research lies in the successful implementation of the program of an elective course in physical culture based on Moldovan folk outdoor games and the methodology of its implementation within the framework of non-professional physical education, which allows us to recommend it for implementation in the process of forming the personality of a primary school teacher of specialized universities.
