Structure of thesis: it consists of 3 chapters, followed by general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 255 sources, 31 annexes, 134 pages of basic text, 14 figures, 28 tables. The achieved results have been published in 17 scientific publications.
Goal of research: Research of teacher’s personality image of medical institutions of higher education (MIHE), in the light of character traits, elaboration and approval of psychological intervention program for the given process.
Objectives of thesis: Determining the scientific fundamentals of teacher’s personality image of institutions of higher education; Determining and researching the structural components of UT’s personality image. Factor analysis and elaboration of MIHE Ideal teacher’s personality model; Research of external and internal factors influence on the formation of positive and negative personality image of MIHE teachers; Comparative analysis of MIHE teacher’s personality image perception, performed by students and teachers; Determining the relevant content of medical university teacher’s model;
Elaboration and implementation of formative program for optimization of university teacher’s image; Performing the psychological experiment for validation of psychological formative program of UT’s image. Novelty and originality of research: scientific presentation of the concept concerning the specificity of medical UT’s personality image; building up UT’s ideal personality model; elaborating the developing strategies of UT’s image; proving the fact that work improves the positive UT’s personality image, elaboration, implementation and assessment of formative optimization program of UP’s personality image. Theoretical value: Providing psychological recommendations concerning the development of UT’s image; using factorial analysis in the assessment of medical university teacher’s personality image; elaboration of the training course “Development of medical university teacher’s relevant image”.
Applied value: Practical application of Formative Psychological Program for optimization of UT’s personality image; practical application of UT’s personality ideal model; elaboration of UT’s image portofolio as a means of personal and profesional development. Practical implementation: The module of “MIHE teacher’s image” was implemented within the Training Courses in the field of Higher Education Psychopedagogy, and became part of teachers’ qualification plan of SMPU „N. Testemiţanu”.
