The purpose of the research is to research the processes of distribution and supply of natural gas the Republic of Moldova and their management's, argument need for improvement in order to reduce production costs and increase efficiency of business activity regarding the distribution and supply of natural gas by identifying and applying various methods and techniques of contemporary managerial efficiency.
The object of research is both gas sector of the country in general and in particular regional enterprise distribution and supply of natural gas – LLC "Balti-gas, which provides natural gas to households and non-households in the north of the country.
The novelty and scientific originality consists of proposals for improving the management of distribution and supply of natural gas through contributions that ensure liberalization by gradual elimination of regulated tariffs for natural gas in the Republic of Moldova.
Important scientific problem solved is to develop the mechanism of gradual liberalization of the distribution and supply sector of natural gas according to regulatory acts of the Republic of Moldova and the Energy Community.
Theoretical significance and practical value of the thesis is determined by the possibility of using theoretical approaches and proposals for gradual elimination of the reglemented tariffs and liberalization of gas natural sector which aim to contribute to improving the management of distribution and supply of natural gas in the Republic of Moldova.
The scientific results and practical proposals were implemented within the enterprise SRL "Balti -gaz" in 2009-2013 by modelling the NG tariffs formation processes and adjustment using Petri nets that is confirmed by the ANRE. Ministry of Economy of Moldova has accepted the implementation of smart metering as a means of transparent and real consumption as continuity for NG tariff liberalization.
