Summary

Thesis structure: includes annotations, list of abbreviations, introduction, three chapters, generalconclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 243 sources, 11 annexes, 131 pages of basic text, 29 figures, 42 tables. The obtained results have been published in 11 scientific publications.

The purpose of the research: determining the psychological development of children with MMD involved in various educational models and propose psychological and pedagogical intervention to promote development of their personality.

The objectives of the research: studing and performence of intelligence of young pupils with mild mental disabilities (MMD) from different educational methods; the influence of the level of development of the afectiv sphere of the individual pupil with MMD; the level of psycho-social development of primary school children 8-9 years old, with MMD; the investigation of intervention strategies to improve the terms of psycho-mental potential and abilities for children with MMD; the confirmation of experimental evaluation of the effectiveness of inclusive education programs to reduce school failure for children with MMD.

The solved scientific issue consists of the scientific and methodological concept of educational models, as a result of studies have confirmed the benefits of the inclusive school, so in the psychological and personality development of children with MMD proposed introduction of psycho-pedagogical inclusive modular program (PPIMP).

The scientific novelty and originality of the research. For the first time at the national level have been established aspects and influences of different models of education on mental development of children with mild mental disabilities; was developed complex evaluation; was submitted complex specially organized training activities for developing and improving the affective, behavioral, relational sphere for children with MMD. The theoretical significance of the research is solved in the conceptualization of scientific and methodological methods of education, which confirmed the desirability of promoting inclusive school model, the application of psycho-educational program modular inclusion.

The applicatory value of the research: the proposal PPIMP was introduced in order to improve personal, mental development of children with mild intellectual disabilities. The practical implementation of the results: These study materials are introduced into the process of diagnostics and psychological intervention for children with MMD from schools in the Republic of Moldova; in practical activities of special educators and psychologists.
