The thesis structure: the thesis is composed of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 211 titles, 12 annexes. It includes 151 pages of basic text, 52 figures, 28 tables.
The obtained results were published in 28 scientific papers. Keywords: entrepreneurship, innovations, innovative potential, innovation process, intellectual property, inventions, innovative infrastructure, entrepreneurial activity, innovation activity, inventions, cluster. The field of research is to study the theoretical aspects in order to identify practical ways for the development of entrepreneurship through innovation.
The purpose of the thesis consists of deepening theoretical innovations and entrepreneurship and elaboration of practical recommendations concerning entrepreneurship development through innovation, based on the enterprises of the food industry in the South Region of Development.
The objectives of the paper: the deepening of scientific research on the concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation; the identification and argumentation of role of innovation in entrepreneurship development; the study of the international experience concerning the support and promotion of entrepreneurial activity, including the creation and development of innovation infrastructure; the identification of indicators for the evaluation of innovative potential, as well as the analysis of entrepreneurial activity in the South Region of Development(SRD); the appreciation othe potential of innovation and innovational activity intensified in the food industry of SRD; the development of practical recommendations and proposals for the development of entrepreneurship through innovation.
Scientific novelty and originality consists in a complex approach to the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship and innovation impact argumentation entrepreneurial activity; the identifying best practice in the creation and development of infrastructure trends; the carrying out a study on the innovation potential of the enterprises of the food industry from SRD; the drawing up proposals on the development and enhancement of entrepreneurial innovation activities within companies in the food industry in SRD; the elaboration of the algorithm on creation of agro-industrial cluster in the southern region of development.
The important scientific problem solved consists in supporting science-practical importance of entrepreneurship development through innovation, which has contributed to the elaboration of the algorithm of creating agro-industrial cluster, in order to develop innovation at regional and national level.
The theoretical significance of the thesis resides in a multilateral approach to the concept of innovation and a demonstration of innovation's impact on entrepreneurship activity.
The applicative value of the thesis is to assess the innovation potential of enterprises in the food industry in the SRD, to identify the main problems in the development of entrepreneurship through innovations, as well as to submit proposals on the development of entrepreneurship and the intensification of innovation activities both within enterprises, as well as at the level of the region, through the creation of the agro-industrial cluster. As an argument in favor of the applicative value of the research, they serve the implementation certificates, which are placed at the end of the thesis
