Summary

Field of study: the scientific study focused on the field of forensics, focusing on the particularities of forensic investigation of road accidents.

Purpose and objectives of the paper. The decisive purpose of the paper is the development of forensic methodology and practical recommendations for the investigation of road accidents as well as the identification of shortcomings in the relevant legislation and the submission of rigorous proposals, subsequently increasing the effectiveness of road accident research and prevention based on the analysis of judicial practice. The objectives of this study constitutes the national doctrine in the criminal procedure and forensic aspects of investigating road accidents, as well as some recommendations, procedures and specific means for making these researches more efficient.

Novelty and scientific originality. The solved scientific problem lies in the development of road accident investigation tactics to elucidate the existing problems both at the theoretical and practical levels, by elaborating the proposals, which complements the previous researches made by other scholars in the field of procedural, organizational, tactical and methodological aspects reflecting the essence of the road accident research process.

Theoretical significance. Theoretically, this thesis is an approach to the controversial opinions and proposals presented in the specialty literature of the Republic of Moldova and abroad, with a general reference to the analysis and appreciation of the current state of the practice of the impact of road accidents, the tactical aspect of forensic and criminal-law procedures regulating the activities in question, elaboration of aimed proposals aimed at improving and increasing these aspects.

Applicative value of the paper. The applicative importance lies in the development of conceptions, solutions, proposals regarding the criminal-procedure and forensic aspects of the issue to be studied. Implementation of scientific results. The obtained results can be used by teachers in the didactic process in legal education institutions, as well as by the practitioners involved in the fight against crime and discovering offenses.
