Scientific novelty and originality of the thesis is in the comprehensive research, within the proposed chronologic segment, of the evolution of the easel graphics within the national fine arts and the analysis of the thematic component, specific to the graphic genres. It is attempted to present, for the first time, a synthesis of the easel graphic history, by identifying and analyzing the individual and overall elements and characteristics of this type of art.

Main resolved scientific problem consists in the revelation of the importance of easel graphics in the context of the plastic arts of Bessarabia, MSSR and the Republic of Moldova in the 20th century, which led to the presentation of a systemic framework of the easel graphic evolution, based on a theoretic-methodological ground, specific to fine arts genres, in order to elucidate the contribution of the artists who have contributed to the evolution of the easel graphic, as well as the emphasizing of the easel graphics value and placing the works in the scientific circuit.

The scientific results will be implemented by publishing over 15 articles, contributing to 12 national and international conferences focused on the subject, using the information as didactic support in faculties specialized in fine arts history and theory, in the field of antiques, auction houses, for art collectors and guides, as well as for any other parties interested in easel graphic.
