Summary

Structure of the thesis: introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 140 sources. The content is displayed on 150 pages; contains 38 charts, 64 figures, 13 annexes. The results were published in 20 scientific papers, including a monography and manual in volume of 30,52 c.a.

Field of study: management of international economic relations.

The aim of the research is to position the concept and practicality of the international economic relations management and to determine the ways to make it efficient for the autochthonous organizations practicing international affairs.

The aim of the research is to achieve the following objectives: to analyse the international relations management theories; to determine the methodological aspects of the external economic strategy formation in enterprises; to determine the methods of management efficiency of the international economic relations as a way of enterprises’ development; to identify opportunities for developing trade relations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union in the context of the Association Agreement between Republic of Moldova and the EU and DCFTA; to analyse the evolution and trends in the development of the foreign trade of the Republic of Moldova and the impact of ALSAC implementation; to conduct the diagnosis of the enterprises’ potential in the wholesale trade of cereals, seeds, feed and raw tobacco; to elaborate the forecasting model for the moldovian agrarian sector’s development in order to identify the export potential, as well as to determine the potential of the local sunflower market; to give recommendations for improvement of the management of REI at micro level in enterprises dealing with the wholesale of cereals, seeds, feed and raw tobacco (based on the company UN "Unicaps" SRL), to identify organizational-economic methods to make the REI management more efficient at a regional and national level.

Novelty and the scientific originality of the paper consists of: the development of the theoretical and methodological base in order to make the international economic relations’ management more efficient; the identification of the commencement and inclusion extent of the national economy in the world economic area by stipulating the opportunities for developing the trade relations of the Republic of Moldova in the context of the Association Agreement between Republic of Moldova and EU and ALSAC; the diagnostics of the potential of organisations dealing with the wholesale trade of cereals, seeds and unprocessed tobacco in order to make REI management more efficient by utilising the most modern organizational-economic methods, the execution of the agricultural sector’s development prognosis in order to determine the export potential at a national level; determining, based on the econometric model, the potential of the local sunflower market in order to determine the sector capacity to export the product; development of recommendations to improve REI management in organisations in the field of activity G46.21 (based on the company dealing with processing of sunflower seeds UN „Unicaps” SRL); development of recommendations regarding the process of making REI management more efficient at a regional and national level based on the organizational-economic methods.

The solved scientific problem consists in the substantiation of the theoretical and methodological framework of the organizational-economic methods at enterprise, sector and national levels, which will allow the identification of the agrarian sector’s export potential (especially the sunflower market), in order to obtain a more efficient management of international economic relations at organisational and national level.

Theoretical and applicative significance of the work. The research has contributed to the elaboration of a systematic presentation of the efficiency aspects of the management of international economic relations based on the valuation of specialised literature from the country and abroad. This is manifested by a complex, multi-faceted research of international economic relations management; highlighting the gaps, advantages and disadvantages associated with international economic relations management in the studied enterprises. The applicative value of the paper is the application of organizational-economic methods that allow us to interpret the development capacity of the Moldovan agricultural sector in general and, in particular, the sunflower market, which contributed to the correct formulation of the directions in making international economic relations management more efficient. A series of recommendations have been developed, the implementation of which will stimulate the commencement and inclusion of the national economy in the world economic area and will contribute to the improvement of the international economic relations management at the company, regional and national level.

Approval of the results. The main ideas of the research were presented and approved within over 8 scientific and national scientific events. At the same time, the author holds 5 certificates for scientific results’ implementation, issued by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Moldovan-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Agriculture Regional Development and Environment (2 certificates) and IM "Unicaps" SRL.
