The scientific novelty and originality of the research lies in the design, construction and launch of an original epistemic-empirical platform with reference to the dynamics of the social representation of the leaders. This research is the first study of psychosocial nature that provides a unitary view of the conditions, principles and methods that make it possible to bring into light and explain the transformability of "collective theories" about "the greatest of the day" according to the nature of the groups that emit these theories.
The theoretical significance of the research consists in the elaboration and presentation of a unitary epistemic-empirical platform referring to the dynamics of the process of social representation of the leaders. The thesis covers a significant gap in the contemporary psychosocial science, placing a major concern on the agenda and offering an original solution to it. As a pioneering work, it offers the opportunity to carry out new and important inter-, multi- and trans-disciplinary studies on the dimension of the social representation of power’s favourites and the styles with which they impose their authority.
The applicative value of the research lies in the possibility of using its results in various fields: research (socio-humanistic profile: psychology, sociology, anthropology, politics, etc.), socio-humanistic university education (all steps), continuous professional training), elaboration of monographs, textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, scientific articles and/or works of dissemination of science, training/information activities anchored in leadership issues and addressed to different categories of social actors (leaders from different fields , civic activists, political analysts, journalists, etc.).
The implementation of the research results has been reflected in the elaboration and publication of 5 author monographs, 14 chapters and studies in specialized academic volumes, 62 articles in specialized journals (from home and abroad) and 26 papers or theses of communications included in the volumes of national and international scientific meetings. In addition, they have also been reflected in the elaboration and teaching of 17 academic courses in 9 higher education institutions, coordinating bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses, in the elaboration and presentation of informative reports/notes referring to leaders and their social representation in projects organized and carried out at the initiative of non-governmental organizations (IDIS ,,Viitorul", CREDO, ADEPT, Moldova Invisible College) and in opinions expressed in the media over time.
