This paper approaches the issues of sports performance in football. The theorethical-scientific analysis and generalisation found in the literature about this subject demonstrated that the majority of the authors notice the fact that in the current stage the methodology of some of the factors in the training of the football players are insuficiently developed: tactical training and psychological training. Therefore, in this paper, some attempts have been made to implement some of the models for the training of the junior football players included in the national teams.
This paper presents the selection and tactical training models, that have been applied during an anual cicle on the national football team sports.
The results of the implementation of this tooling system have contribued to the major improvement of the physical, technical, biomotric training and especially in the tactical training of the sports.
The scientific research performed in the pedagogical experiment have demonstrated that the football players have obtained high results in the offensive structure, the percentage being of 79,1 and the collective game with a percentage 76,3. For the other two factors, deffensive structure and fixed moments strategy, the results are expressed in an upward not so pronounced.
The tactical training improvement has efficiently contribued to the quality of the competition games where the junior national team has obtained in the official and friendly tournaments 11 victories out of 17 planned matches.
