Summary

Thesis structure: note, introduction, three chapters, conclusions and ractical and methodological recommendations, bibliography consisting of 256 entries, 6 appendices, 138 base text pages. The text of the paper contains 24 tables and 56 figures. The results obtained have been published in 8 scientific papers.

Study field: physical education pedagogy

Purpose and objectives of the paper: improving the instructional and educational process, increasing the motive performance in pupils enrolled in the primary cycle. The objectives of the paper are: 1. Checking and assessing the evolutive process of motive skills and determining the sensitive periods. 2. Elaborating and experimenting the system of specific means for developing the coordinative skills, and their influence upon motive performance. 3. Theoretical arguments and experimental system design means coordinative capacity building of primary school pupils in classes.

Novelty and scientific originality: for the first time it has been attempted to increase the degree of manifestation and influence of the coordinative skills upon the motive performance of pupils in primary classes.

Theoretical importance: establishing the structure and manifestation forms of the coordinative skills, estimating the degree and character of the interconnection of coordinative factors, dynamics of development under the influence of instructional and educational process, orienting it towards the increase of the motive performance in the subjects under research.

Applicative value of the paper: creating the opportunities to largely use the experimental findings of the present research by pedagogues working with young pupils. The scientific issue of utmost importance in the field to which a solution has been provided approaches the physical education lesson from the point of view of predominantly using the means of developing the coordinative abilities of primary school children. Research has shown that the reasonable management of the means and methods used in the physical education lesson, by implementing the theoretical model proposed, results in a higher level of manifestation of the coordinative abilities and therefore of the motor performance, thus maximising the degree of attaining the lesson objectives.

Implementation of scientific results: the results of the research were presented and published in the volumes of the national and international scientific conferences of Ph.D. candidates in Romania and Moldova.

The modelling of the process of physical education for the pupils in the primary cycle aimed at using specific means to develop coordinative means was implemented in the study process in three representative educational institutions in the county of Galati: The ”Costache Negri” National College, The ”Gheorghe Asachi” Industrial Highschool, and School no. 26.
