The research is devoted to the studying of professional application training enhancement problem of students of military faculty with applied means of swimming.

I tis well known that in the structure and military phisical training are included a range of sport and sports – applied disciplines as obligatory disciplines, an dat the time the methodology of its implimentation in educational process is not sufficiently scientifically developed.

In this context, in the work are presented the models of students educational process planning in the framework of educational discipline „Applied swimming”, which can serve as the model of education for other sports – applied disciplines that are necesary for the future military specialist.

Three stages of students training according to this discipline are proposed. The first stage is devoted to the technique of sports – swimming and some elements of applied swimming, the second stage is realized in summer training camp where conditions are like real – war and the third stage is referred to methodical preparation, which is conducted as pedagogical practice in military parts.

For realization of present program there was developed a model of basic components of applied swimming which was incorporated in the educational process of all three stages of training subsequently. Obtained results showed considerable improvement of professional – applied training of the students of experimental group, where the level of theoretical knowledge and motor peculiar skills were higher than students of control group have.

In fact, research period was interfaced with educational film development „One chance to life”, which is implement on educational process in military parts now.
