This work is aiming to be a modest contribution to a modern planning and training technology for high level-canoe athletes in order to enable their best possible participation in top international events such as Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, etc.
The whole research has been carried out on the canoe group within the Olimpic kaiak-canoe team whose target was that one of successfully participating in the Olympic Games/Sydney 2000.
The performed experiment highlighted the efficiency of the new tehnology aplied on the canoe group in 1999 and 2000. The immediate results were the Olympic Gold at C2 1000m and Olymoic Bronze at C2 500m won by the athletes Mitica Pricop and Florin Popescu.
Both successful experiment and research procedures are being now a confident basis for further applying of such technologies at other levels as well (juniors, youth categories etc) as the results would certainly be some of the best ones.
