Field of study – school methodology (German language) The scope of the research consists in the theoretical establishment and the elaboration of the methodology of comprehensive reading development of the economics students, based on the specialized texts in the German language by using strategies of circular reading.
Objectives of the research: determination of the theoretical references in the development of the reading competence of specialized texts; establishment of the methodological possibilities for the effectiveness of specialized texts reading in German; comparative study of university curriculum concerning the students’ process of learning the economic language; establishing the didactic criteria in selecting the specialized texts for the development of the economics students’ specialized texts in German reading competence; identification of the specifics and the levels of the development of the reading competence and the difficulties of the economics students concerning reading of specialized texts in German; elaboration of the technological model for the development of the reading competence of specialized texts in German by means of integrating the method of cognitive maps in the strategy of circular reading; synthesis of the average values compared of the reading competence formed by economics students and confirmed experimentally.
Novelty and scientific originality of the research consists in the elaboration of a technological model for the development of the reading competence of specialized texts in German by integrating the method of cognitive maps in the strategy of circular reading; making of the glossary of basic economic terms; elaboration of the course material Economic German language, defining the concept of reading; actualization of the notions of circular reading competence; launching the concept of logical-suggestive reading and determining the typology of necessary competences for the use of the specialized texts; elaboration of the didactical criteria in selecting the specialized texts for the increase of the students’ motivation for reading.
The solved scientific problem consists in the optimization of the university teaching technics by means of teaching foreign languages (German language) by demonstrating the efficiency of the strategy of circular reading and of cognitive maps in approaching specialized texts; implementation in the university practice of the technological model for the development of the reading competence of specialized texts in German in order to enable the professional communication of the economics students.
The theoretical importance of the research consists in the gnoseological approach of the concept of specialized reading competence as a precondition for professional communication; systematization of the theoretical and methodological references concerning the role of the cognitive maps in the formation of the specialized reading competence; elaboration of the structural model of integrating the method of cognitive maps in circular reading; approaching the specialized texts and the concept of cognitive maps in terms of forming the students’ motivation for reading; elaboration of the quality indicators of RCST.
The applicative value of the research reflects the experimental confirmation and the argumentation of the efficiency of the technological model for the development of the reading competence of specialized texts in German by integrating the method of cognitive maps in the strategy of circular reading; modernization of German language teaching in order to form the students’ professional communication in the foreign language; the usage of the technological model for the integration of the cognitive maps in circular readings and the experimental application of a system of exercises for revision and systematization of the acquired knowledge by reading, elaboration and implementation of the course material Economic German language.
The implementation of the scientific results of the research was realized at higher education institutions from the Republic of Moldova, as well as by means of publications and communications at scientific forums in the period between 2010-2017
