Thesis structure: Introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, 228 references, 9 annexes, 137 pages of basic text, 42 figures, 14 tables. The results are published in 13 scientific papers.
Purpose of the research: Establishing the theoretical and methodological foundations of selection in handball game based on the development of the motor and coordination skills for children aged between 10-12 years.
Thesis objectives: 1. Analysis o f the theoretical and methodological concepts of the scient ific training for beginners in handball. 2. Assessment of motor and technical capacit ies development level for children aged between 10-12 years and their influence on the selection system in handball game. 3. Experimental handball select ion model elaboration through coordinat ive abilit ies. 4. The experimental argumentation of coordinat ive abilit ies development efficiency for 10 to 12 years old children in handball game selection.
The scientific novelty of the research relates the optimizat ion process of the select ion considering the level of coordination abilities development of children aged from 10 to 12 years. Here was developed a system of means based on algorithmizing that demonstrated the practical importance of developing these capabilities and their influence on the selection system.
The important solved scientific problem solved in this research consists in theoretical and experimental substantiation of specific models for motor and coordination development in order to apply them in the training process of children aged between 10-12 years, which led to the optimization of the primary selection system in the game handball.
The theoretical significance of the research aimed focusing of the attention on the ongoing selection process in the handball game on the coordination abilities development of children. The methodology for conducting practical experiment proved the truth of this and the implications it may have.
The applicative value of the paper is that the results of the research carried out can be used as a methodological guide by the handball coaches and teachers’ schools and specialized sports clubs, as well as for professional training students in physical education and sports higher education institutions with handball specialization.
Implementation of scientific results. The research results have been implemented within the training program of a handball team from Suceava, children aged between 10 and 12 years.
