The results are published in 17 scientific papers. The aim of the thesis: identifying the peculiarities of self-control and emotional stability of preadolescents with deviant behavior and determining the psychological conditions to reduce deviant behavior in preadolescents by increasing the level of self-control and emotional stability in them. The objectives of the thesis: analysis of theoretical approaches of emotional stability and self-control in preadolescents with deviant behavior; elaboration of the methodology for diagnosing and identifying the emotional stability and self-control of preadolescents with deviant behavior; identifying deficiencies in the development of emotional stability and self-control, which generates deviant behavior; identifying the association between self-control and emotional stability and personality traits of deviant preadolescents; highlighting the personality traits of preadolescents with deviant behavior; elaboration of a program to remedy the deficiencies of emotional stability and self-control responsible for the behavior of preadolescents and its implementation in a special psychological intervention with preadolescents with deviant behavior. Scientific novelty and originality: were revealed and described the particularities of self-control and emotional stability in preadolescents with deviant behavior and established the psychological conditions that make it possible to develop emotional stability and self-control and decrease deviant behavior in preadolescents. The results that contribute to solving an important scientific problem lie in: identifying the particularities of emotional stability and self-control in preadolescents with deviant behavior and developing a psychological intervention program focused on the priority development of emotional stability and self-control, which contributed to significant diminution of deviant behavior by implementing strategies to develop self-control and emotional stability in experimental subjects. Theoretical significance: scientific knowledge was obtained about the psychological nature of deviant behavior and its essential characteristics; about the emotional stability and emotional control of the preadolescent; about the emotional profile of the preadolescent with deviant behavior; about strategies for developing emotional stability and self-control, aimed at identifying and eliminating the psychological causes that generate deviant behavior. Applicative value: elaboration, implementation and validation of a psychological intervention program aimed at developing emotional stability and self-control, variables responsible for preadolescent behavior, which can be used in the educational process, with beneficial effect on the quality of preadolescent behavior; proposing a set of practical recommendations on improving the psychological assistance activities of preadolescents with low levels of emotional stability and emotional control; elaboration and practical use of the methodology for diagnosing, measuring and assessment emotional stability and emotional control. Implementation of the obtained scientific results: the most important aspects of the research were discussed, analyzed and implemented: within the scientific activities organized in higher education institutions in Republic of Moldova; in the didactic process of training specialists in the field of psychologyand, social assistance within State Pedagogical University “I. Creangă ”and University of European Studies of Moldova to the disciplines“ Psychosociology of deviance ”,“ Psychosociology of deviant behavior and strategies to support youth ”,“ Social assistance of the hard-to-learn student ”,“ Social assistance in the probation system ”,“ Social psychology ”; within the applied scientific research projects, financed from the state budget etc.
