The purpose of research to develop theoretical and methodological foundations for the training of highly qualified table tennis athletes, based on the optimal choice of training influences.

The objectives of research: 1. To study the modern aspects of table tennis development, the training process system of highly qualified table tennis women athletes, the nature and structural forms of long-term training. 2. Scientifically substantiate the main directions of a systematic approach to the multi-year preparatory process on table tennis. 3. To study the state of morphological signs of women table tennis players, intellectual potential, the state of psycho-motor abilities, technical preparedness of women table tennis players in the multy-year sport improvement. 4. To form directed game movements of highly qualified women table tennis players for their successful competitive rivalry. 5. To substantiate the criteria for the sports development of women table tennis players at various stages of their long-term training. 6. To develop an experimental training program for training highly qualified women table tennis athletes, based on the optimal selection of training influences. 7. Experimentally test the effectiveness of the training program for training of highly qualified women table tennis athletes, based on the optimal selection of training effects.

Scientific novelty and originality of research. A new scientific direction was developed within the framework of sport pedagogy: a theoretical and methodological support for the training of highly qualified women table tennis athletes based on the optimal selection of training influences. The scientific concept for the training of highly qualified women table tennis athletes, including a system of psychological, physical and pedagogical factors, was developed and substantiated, as well as a system of methodological justifications: principles, macrocycles, forms and stages of training athletes and mechanisms of training impacts. Theoretically substantiated and put into practice, a systematic approach to the selection of training effects, including the interconnection of various mechanisms, forms and methods, depending on individual characteristics and individual rhythm, the dynamics of mastering the technical and tactical skills of table tennis, which in turn is the basis and criterion for optimal selection of training effects.

The theoretical significance of research is: the development of the theory of physical education and sport, through the development of conceptual and methodological foundations for the training of highly qualified women table tennis athletes based on the optimal choice of training influences. The development of general and methodological principles for constructing a system of the long-term training process for the preparation of highly qualified women table tennis athletes. Justification of the relationship of psychological, physical, pedagogical and methodological factors in determining the optimal forms and methods of training influences in the process of training of highly qualified women table tennis athletes. Justification of the structural and substantive features of the preparation of women table tennis athletes in the framework of macrocycles, mesocycles and microcycles, as the conditions for the effective training of high-level women table tennis players through the optimal selection of training influences.

The practical significance of research: The developed methodology for the optimal selection of training influences during the long-term training of high-class women table tennis players can be used by table tennis coaches at the national and international levels. Structurally meaningful planning of the training process for the preparation of high-level women table tennis players can be recommended for practical use by sports clubs, sections in the fields of table tennis, etc.

Implementation of scientific research results: The research results were presented at international and national scientific conferences and congresses. Published in a number of scientific articles, monograph, and also introduced into the sports, educational and training process of sports schools and table tennis departments in the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Uzbekistan, professional table tennis clubs in Spain, Germany, Romania, in the training programs of the Faculty of Sport and the Department of professional development of sports workers and coaches of the SUPES from the Republic of Moldova.
