Summary

Structure of thesis: introduction, 3 chapters, general conclusions and pract ical recommendations, bibliography - 162 sources, 161 text pages, 3 annexes, 43 figures, 13 tables. The achieved results are published in 8 scient ific papers.

The purpose of the research is to study the phenomenon of children socialization, theoretical basis and development of a model for the application of motion games (in primary school children), in extracurricular sport activities (organized in sea camps) designed to ensure the formation of their identity and their continuous development through its interaction with the social existence plan.

Research objectives: 1. Studying the current theory and pract ice regarding the socializat ion of pupils in primary and extracurricular activit ies. 2. Socio logical research on the practice of mot ion games in primary school pupils in extracurricular act ivit ies. 3. Elaboration of extracurricular act ivit y models specific to the primary school cycle. 4. Argumentation of the efficiency of using extra school activities in children aged 7-10 years.

The novelty and originality of the research consists in the elaboration of efficient models of extracurricular activit ies, their specificit y as an instructive - educational process within the school, especially from the theoretical point of view approached from the format ive - educational perspective. School is the institution that can target intellectual knowledge and skills as well as the interactive social ones, using extracurricular activities, which at the same time represent opportunities for the formation and development of personality.

The important solved scientific problem lies in the elaboration of the theoretical-practical guide (games at the sea), in the selection, organization, theoretical and experimental foundation of personalized strategies generating content for pupils in primary school aged 7-10 years from the socialization perspective and model of extracurricular activities.

The theoretical significance consists in the elaboration and argumentation of using extracurricular activities for the primary cycle in order to increase the level of socialization. Children are not only confined to learning, but in many cases replacing their mother or father in the exercise of duties, becoming a source of workforce. In such situations, the optional aspect of the child is diminished at maximum in certain periods, the free time of a child or adolescent being considerably diminished; moreover, the time spent on school education is also diminished. Also, children must be taught to develop both their intellectual abilities and their physical strength, development being the result of the effort. These qualit ies and abilit ies can be achieved through the use of extracurricular sport activities, which can guide them, influence their development and make them easier and more beautiful the main objective - preparing the child for life.

The applicative value of the research is the broad possibilities of applying and implementing in the educational practice of the primary cycle of extracurricular activities that will contribute to the stimulation of pupils personality, to their physical and intellectual development, and not least to their civic and patriotic education.

Implementation of scientific results. The obtained results were verified and implemented in the instructive-educational process with primary school pupils grades I-VIII Pecineaga, Constanta.
