Summary

The doctoral thesis consists of introduction, 3 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography – 191 titles, 7 appendices, 118 of body text, 59 pictures, 19 tables. The results are published in 22 scientific studies.

The aim of this work is to improve the efficiency of preparation of specialists in physical culture and sports, focused on the self-education in order to acquire knowledge, formation of intellectual skills and attitudes by means of the methodology insight, formation of educational abilities, skills, habits, which are indispensable for continuation of the efforts of constant improvement and self-improvement.

Objectives: 1. the study of the actual theory and practice regarding the role of self-education in the training of specialist in physical culture and sports. 2. The determination and the development of the curricular content of the course "Culture of communication and the sports language”, the manual and the sports dictionary. 3. The development of theoretical model of the self-education of the specialist in physical education and sports. 4. The experimental verification of the use of insighting in the process of self-education of specialists in this field.

Scientific novelty and originality of the study: our study contributes to the improvement of quality of methodological support of training of specialist in physical culture and sports through self-education. In particular, we developed and introduced in educational process of the profile faculty: optimized content of the course " Culture of communication and the sports language ", a theoretical model of selfeducation of the specialist in physical culture and sports, insighting method as heuristic strategy for problems solving, the manual "Self-education is the essential factor in ensuring the quality of higher education of physical culture and sports" and sports vocabulary.

The important scientific problem solved in the study is to establish the role of self-education on training of specialist in physical culture and sports. At the same time, the student’s model of selfeducation allowed us the selection, organization theoretical and experimental foundation of the curricular content (flexible, permeable, dynamic, and creating personal strategies of self-education) of the course " Culture of communication and the sports language", the manual and the sports vocabulary, which led to the increase of efficiency of training of specialist in physical culture and sports through insight.

The theoretical significance of the work consists in the analysis, structuring and systematization of theoretical information from the literature of specialty; the definition of the role of self-education of the specialist training in this field, the necessity of the improvement of curricular content of the course " Culture of communication and the sports language " in accordance with graduates’ opportunities in the labour market. In addition, theoretical and experimental justification of the use of the methodology for problem solving by insight is established the importance of heuristic strategies use in the process of training of specialists in physical culture and sports.

The practical significance of the thesis research consists of the possibilities of applying the selfeducation in the educational process, developed theoretical model, modern method of pedagogical problem solving, such as insight and at the same time which is the activity of teaching-training-evaluation with permanent formative superior perfectible resources from strategic and operational point of view in the framework of the course " Culture of communication and the sports language".

Implementation of scientific results: The results of our studies were approved and presented during the research meetings in Chisinau, Galati and in specialized journals, namely: Teoria şi arta educaţiei fizice în școală, Chişinău; Şt iinţa culturii fizice, Chişinău; Probleme actuale privind perfecţionarea sistemului de învăţământ în domeniul culturii fizice: Conferinţa ştiinţifică internaţională consacrată Zilei Mondiale a Calităţii, Chişinău.
