Summary

The present research is dedicated to one of the most actual problems of contemporaneity – formation of the family culture through education for family (EF).

Theoretical and methodological bases of EF are presented in the thesis, worked out in the accordance with the principles of postmodernist, interactive pedagogies also system – role theory of formation of the personality on the basis of synergetic mechanism of optimization of the family upbringing through the education of children, pupils and parents.

The work summerizes pedagogical, ethico-philosophical epistemolo-gical and historicoanthropological bases of family development, family upbringing, preparation of the rising generation for the family life, showing the possibilities of fulfillment of philosophic and axiological education in the organic unity of the formation of the personality of the future competent family man and effective parent.

On this basis the author systemizes and develops the peculiarities, regularities and principles of EF, substantiates and works out pedagogical classification of the family, paradigm of EF conditions and principles of democratization of family relationship, the model of the family, based on the culture of tolerant interrelation.

In this connection the of role of the family, school and society is being recomprehended, the definition to such notions as family, family upbringing, the culture in the family, pedagogical ethos of the family, education for the family have been given.

The results got in the process of research and theoretical modeling having experimental verification are instilled in the pedagogical activity of educational institutions, public organizations of the Republic also elaborating the curriculum of EF for all the stages of the system of education (elementary, primary, gymnasium, lyceum, University) and for parents; technologies of upbringing, formation, assessment of the competence and valuable orientations of children-pupils-students-parents.

The analysis and comparison of the elements of pedagogical culture of the family with the process of EF, which is realized on the basis of the given curriculum, has let us determine the importance of interrelation of these three generations and the three cultures (postfiguative, cofigurative, prefigurative) in the harmonization of the way of human life, which is founded in the family.
