This research Formation of creative capacities at lyceum students in the process of problem-based education elaborates a very important and current issue of modern psycho-pedagogy – the formation of creative personality.
There has been established the relation between the process of formation of creative capacities at lyceum (FCCL) students and the process of problem-based education. It defines the criterions of elaborating problem-situations: to correspond to the trans disciplinary creative objectives; to activate all the intellectual elements of creativity: fluency, flexibility, originality, sensitive approach to problems; to correspond to the referential objective of the curriculum; to rely on specific theories and the essential correlation of the studied subject.
The scientific innovation and the theoretical value of this research consists in the identification of FCCL principles, the system of psycho-pedagogical conditions and the essential types of FCCL difficulties included in the process of problem-based education.
The principles of FCCL are the following: the systematization and the continuity in the process of creating and solving problem-based instructions; the individualization and the differentiation in the activity of realizing creative tasks; the cooperation in the process of creative learning; the self-evaluation and guided evaluation of creative products as related to personal and micro-social experience; the freedom in choosing and solving creative tasks; the stimulating creative motivation.
Psycho-pedagogical conditions, such as those of internal (field related experience, motivation, creative attitudes, moral capacities) and external nature, concerning the teaching-learning-evaluating process as well as the creative psycho-pedagogical climate determines the process of FCCL. It can be made difficult by elements of internal nature (lack or insufficiency of fundamental knowledge in the creative domain, the insufficient development of creative capacities, anxiety) or external nature (the unfavorable psycho-pedagogical climate of the individual or group creative process and the absence of creative competence of the teacher).
It was demonstrated that the problem-based education contributes in an efficient way to FCCL, as it is organized according to the principles that orients the creation and solving of problem-based situations according to the adequate conditions of this process.
The practical value of this research consist in developing some new methodological didactic materials for teachers in order to stimulate the creativity of lyceum students; in publishing a collection of problems and exercises for the development of creativity and the possibility to develop the curriculum as well as for baccalaureate programs on chemistry.
