Summary

In the context of global reform in education and teaching in the Republic of Moldova, of its reinstate in European education, a big importance has the capitalization of the works and pedagogic activity of the Romanian classics of the 19th century Gh. Asachi, I. Creangă and M. Eminescu, who worked in the period of finalize in the process of building the national Romanian education.

Beginning from these defining principles of researching in the history of national pedagogy, the author has studied the pedagogic phenomenon from Romania, in the 19th century; has determined the spectrum of the educational problems from the 19th century, their complexity and intricacy; has established ways of solving the educational problems laid down in the works of the Romanian literature classics Gh. Asachi, I. Creangă and M. Eminescu; has specified the contribution of those three classics in the development of Romanian pedagogic thinking.

The theoretic values of the research have a wide opening to the educational practice, especially thanks to the invention and systematization of the pedagogic ideas and concepts of those three classics and the disclosure of their actuality for the modern educational practice; have been determined the circumstances (conditions) of valuing the educational treasure from the 19th century in the context of modern education and of educational reform in the Republic of Moldova, and also thanks to the possibility of using the research’s results in making a new school history in the Romanian pedagogic thinking, for applying in the modern educational practice educational technologies certified in teaching experience of the 19th century and in that of those three classics of the Romanian literature, for fertilizing the initial continual professional formation of the teaching staff with values of national and universal pedagogy from the 19th century.

The search from the diachronic point of view of values created by those three classics proves that modern education, as the concept and the axiological orientation, is tightly connected by the pedagogic values made by the classics of the Romanian literature.

The development of school and thinking in Moldova at the moment is determined mainly by the educational treasure of the 19th century.

The axiological and conceptual continuity of the national pedagogy in the 19th, 20th and 21st century shows the cultural – spiritual agreement between all Romanians, assigns credibility at a high level in the success of the educational reform in the Republic of Moldova.

The pedagogic values of those three classics represent a scientific support for the improvement of the modern national educational policies and practices.
