Summary

Doctoral thesis presents the theoretical foundations and practical aspects regarding the democratic managerial style in the pre-school institutions.

In the regard of proving if the managerial staff correspond to the requirements and to the actual exigences of education it is necessary be a clear defining of expectations, what are the functions and the roles also and the managerial styles.

As consequence of theoretical sources investigations and of the obtained results by analysis of applied questionnaires in the field of experimental investigation were produced one model of shaping of democratic managerial style.

This model is accompanied by one methodology, what represents the instructions of shaping of democratic managerial style, which orientates and supports the manager’s formation; they are going to prove a good professional formation into the all three types of human knnowledge (scientific, artistic, empirical) and into all the three axiological fields from which is composed the pre-school curriculum, cognitive, technological, artistic.
