The Goal of the work is to determine the theoretical approaches of education for school dropout prevention and the elaboration of an effective Management methodology system for preventing dropout in Israeli high schools. The research objectives: to elucidate the concepts of school dropout and dropouts; to establish the factors with impact on school dropout; to identify and examine the consequences of school dropout; to analyze school dropout prevention programs, systems and trends; to elaborate, experiment and validate the Management methodology system for preventing dropout in Israeli high schools. Scientific originality and novelty of the research lie in revealing the multiaspectral specificity of school dropout and the necessity of considering the correlation between dropout factors in order to establish an efficient management methodology for its prevention. The scientific problem solved in the work consists in proving the conceptual and the praxiological function of the established management methodology for preventing school dropout in Israeli high schools, through the valuation of pupils’ performance indicators. The theoretical significance of the research is justified by the establishment of school dropout peculiarities approached in the light of its risk factors and outcomes under individual and socioeconomic aspects, by the elaboration of a management methodology system stipulating specific actions, aimed at preventing school dropout, in partnership with school, community and family. The praxiological value of the work is marked by the elaboration of the formative program “School is a chance to succeed” and by the formulation of recommendations on preventing school dropout in Israeli high schools, Arab sector. Implementation of scientific results. The results of the investigation were approved in the frame of scientific conferences, symposiums and educational journals and were tested in Israeli high schools between 2012-2014.
