The field of the research: The university pedagogy.

The aim of the research consists in the theoretical foundation, design and testing the Model of the initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers.

The objectives of the research: to identify the theoretical foundations of the ethnopedagogical training of teachers; to determine the structure, content and scientific essence of the concepts "ethnic culture", "ethnopedagogical culture", "ethnopedagogical competence"; to develop criteria and indicators of ethnopedagogical training provided for describing the levels of initial formation of ethnopedagogical competence; to determine the levels and characteristics of the ethnopedagogical competence of future teachers; to develop, substantiate and experimentally test the Model of initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers.

Scientific novelty and originality of the research consists in: defining the structure, content and scientific essence of the concepts of "ethnic culture", "ethnopedagogical culture", "ethnopedagogical competence" as the basis of the initial ethnopedagogical training and ethnopedagogical competence of future teachers; development and experimental verification of the Model of the initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers, reflecting the goals, objectives, principles, conditions, content, forms and specific for high education strategies.

The scientific issue solved in the study consists in: the functionality of the Model of initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers; in describing the particularities and specifics of the formation of ethnopedagogical competence at teachers; in determining the criteria, indicators and levels of training of ethnopedagogical competence of teachers; scientific interpretation of research results that demonstrate the effectiveness of ethnopedagogical training of teachers.

The theoretical importance of the research is highlighted by the identifying the theoretical foundations of the initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers; defining the scientific essence of the concepts of "ethnic culture", "ethnopedagogical culture", "ethnopedagogical competence" as the basis for the ethnopedagogical training of future teachers, through the identification, theoretical substantiation, description of pedagogical conditions that provide initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers and the formulation of scientific conclusions and recommendations that are significant for the initial and continuous ethnopedagogical training of teachers.

The practical significance of the research consists in the development, substantiation and experimental verification of the Model of initial ethnopedagogical training of future teachers, the development and implementation of the Ethnopedagogy curriculum in university practice, focused on the formation of ethnopedagogical competence; the use of the Model of initial ethnopedagogical training aimed at the formation of the ethnopedagogical competence of teachers during lifelong learning and retraining; formulation of practical recommendations for ethnopedagogical vocational training.

The implementation of scientific results. The results of the research was carried out during the pedagogical experiment realized at “Alecu Russo” Balti State University , in scientific publications presented at national and international conferences.
