The field of the research represents Higher Education Pedagogy, Pedagogy of Emotional Culture (PEC), and Pedagogy of Tolerance. The aim of the research: the formation of teachers’ pedagogical tolerance aiming at teaching pupils tolerance. The research objectives target: to establish the epistemological backgrounds of pedagogical tolerance in the context of teachers’ professional training; to draft the Pedagogical Tolerance Theoretical Model; to elaborate the criteria, indicators, concepts, and the pedagogical tolerance values; to develop the higher education curriculum by including the disciplines peculiar to the Pedagogy of Tolerance; to conceptualize the education for tolerance and the development of the guidance and counselling curriculum on the targeted dimension; to elaborate and experiment the validation of the Strategy of Pedagogical Tolerance Formation having the purpose of cultivating tolerance in pupils.

Scientific novelty and originality of the research are grounded in: the elaboration of the Pedagogical Tolerance Theoretical Model in the context of teachers’ professional referential; the elaboration of the criteria, indicators, concepts, and the pedagogical tolerance values; pedagogical conceptualisation of the education for tolerance; crystallization of the culture of tolerance values in the educational environment.

The scientific problem solved in the research constitutes: the development of the teachers’ training curriculum by including the pedagogical tolerance in the teachers’ professional referential aiming at producing the prerequisites of pupils’ education for tolerance; redevelopment of the guidance and counselling curriculum on the education for tolerance dimension; drafting the evaluation instruments of the pedagogical tolerance assessment on the axiological plane and the elaboration of the pedagogical tolerance formation methodology aiming at increasing the culture of tolerance in the educational environment.

Theoretical value of the research is averred by: establishing the epistemological grounding of the pedagogical tolerance, clarifying the meaning of the concepts related to the field of Pedagogy of Tolerance; adjusting the ideational content regarding the pedagogical tolerance and originating new knowledge in the field of Higher Education Pedagogy, Pedagogy of Emotional Culture, and Pedagogy of Tolerance.

The practical value of the research: theoretical and praxeological contributions to the development of the pedagogical curriculum in higher education by integrating the disciplines peculiar to the Pedagogy of Tolerance; crystallizing the levels of teachers’ pedagogical tolerance formation; the development of the guidance and counselling curriculum on the education for tolerance dimension; elaboration and experimental validation of the Strategy of pedagogical tolerance formation as a main condition for pupils’ education for tolerance.

The implementation of the scientific results has been achieved through communicating the theoretical elaborations and implementing the Teachers’ Training Strategy in the Pedagogical State University „I. Creanga” and theoretical Lyceum, nr 94 from Chisinau in the years 2011-2014.
