The research objectives: to determine the theoretical foundations of teachers' training for ICT professional development; to describe the evolution of the concept of professional competence in the pedagogical referential and the teacher' training models; to assess the university curriculum in terms of initial teacher training; to establish the peculiarities of students- teachers professional competences development with regard to the use of information and communication technologies; to elaborate and to establish scientifically and praxiologically the assessment criteria for teachers' professional competences in terms of ICT valorification, the indicators and the descriptors of the quality of teachers' professional competences in terms of using the information and communication technologies; to develop and validate experimentally the Pedagogical Model of Initial Teacher Training through Information and Communication Technologies (PMITT through ICT).
Scientific Novelty and Originality consists in: the establishment of the theoretical foundations of teacher training in terms of ICT valorification; the theoretical synthesis of the evolution of the concept of professional competences in the pedagogical referential and the teacher training models; the development and the scientific and praxiological establishment of the indicators and descriptors for assessing the quality of teachers' professional competences in terms of ICT valorification; the determination of the conceptual framework of PMITT through ICT; drawing the scientific conclusions regarding the development of teacher training' technologies through ICT; envisaging a generalized vision on initial teacher training through ICT in the context of the interactive pedagogy valorification.
Developing the teachers initial training' technologies through pedagogical modelling and development through ICT necessary for the pedagogical career development in a knowledge-based society; presenting the arguments for the scientific importance of actualizing the teacher training technologies and valorising the opportunities of the interactive pedagogy, quality indicators and descriptors of teachers' professional training technologies in terms of developing the teachers' training system constitutes the scientific problem solved in this research.
Theoretical Significance of the research is motivated by: the theoretical and methodological determination of the teachers initial training; updating the concepts supportive for the examination of the professionalization of teachers on the covered area; the formulation of the assessment criteria of the teachers professional competences in terms of the information and communication technologies valorification; the elaboration and the scientific and praxiological establishment of the indicators and the descriptors for assessing the quality of the technologies of teachers' professional training in terms of ICT valorification; theoretical authentication of the assumption that the technologies for the students-teachers' professional training can be optimized by the plenary implementation of ICT.
The practical value of the research consists in: the assessment and development of the technologies for initial teacher training in the pedagogical university curriculum; the valorification of the ICT competences in the teachers' professional training; establishment of the peculiarities of students – teachers' professional competences in terms of using the information and communication technologies; the revelation of the pedagogical conditions necessary for the valorification of the information and communication technologies within the university courses for the formation of teachers' professional competences using PMITT through ICT.
Implementation of scientific results was achieved by promoting the theoretical and praxiological elaborations in Pedagogical State University „I. Creangă” in the years 2012-2015.
